I seem to be coming out of various closets recently, stating my opinion, and drawing the proverbial line in the sand on a far more regular basis. I do think that has something to do with having nearly died and this must have re-arranged my point of view and my priorities.

Here's the latest example. I actually came out with it and said:

I've been writing for a while about the energizing effect of real visions - it is a side effect of working with visions that is both surprising and truly delightful.

Whether you call it Christmas, Solstice, or the Festival of Lights, this is a holy time of the year, of this there can be no doubt.

At the end of November, I became acutely ill and was taken to hospital. An operation was scheduled for December 31st, and today is December 21st, and it's true to say I'm not feeling at my best.

I have collected the exercises from the Events Psychology study group in a document with some helpful tips and hints. Those who are interested in discovering more about Events Psychology and/or using the principles with their clients can use the exercises book to familiarise themselves with how EvP works, what it feels like, what it does.

A lot of people are in personal development to avoid failure - the idea being that if you're "good" and you do "all the right things" then you'll be immune from adversity, accident, incident, illness and death, one must presume. I have always thought that it's more like increasing one's abilities to cope with whatever life might throw in one's direction. As the old quote goes, "Don't pray for an easier life, pray for a stronger back."

There are all sorts of things one can do in personal development to prepare for the future. One of the things that I have always rated above all else is the power of meditation, or Project Sanctuary to be precise, and to learn to be GOOD AT IT. It's a fun game when all is well, but it isn't until life strikes that the real value and worth of esoteric personal development really becomes revealed. Here's a case in point.

It is extraordinary.

Just when the day seems filled up with annoying muppet nonsense yet again, and I'm jjjjust about to forget how cool the real world really is - up comes the perfect rainbow to cheer me up.

Not just that.

But the rainbow turns up at the very second as I'm standing in the garden, with the camera in my hand, switched on, and ready to go.
